Therefore, the Council is an informal association of senior financial executives and has no officers, by-laws, etc. of its own. Membership in IMA is not required to be a member of the Council. The mission of the Savannah based CFO/Controllers Council is to provide a trusted and discrete forum for Senior Financial Executives to share best practices and discuss and inform members about financial and operational issues, legal and regulatory requirements, technology developments, etc.
